I love real stitching on a card, it gives such a great effect and thought it about time that i look at my sewing machine and see if i can fix it. It was easy, i don't no what took me so long (besides laziness........lol). I also forgot how good it is, it has a little screen showing me which stitch i have selected and it also recommends what setting would work best for that stitch with different materials - how cool is that.
I could only find a matching black thread and bobbin so i kept the paper i used quite dark.
Here's the first card i made:
<--------Look!!! Real stitching..............lol. For the second card i wanted to try and make something a bit funky, i decided to use my Crop-o-Dile to do the embellishment (didn't turn out how i pictured in my head). I also wanted to make use of the white space (again something i don't do very often) and have like a wonky stitched border around the edge. The stitching was wonky but not as tidy as i would have liked. All in all the card hasn't turned out to well but decided to show you as i think i'll try and make another with the same idea but tweak it to try and get it to work.
