BasicGrey - challenge #4

The challenge over on BasicGrey challenge blog this week is a sketch.

Here's my take on the sketch:

For this card i have used BG Archaic paper, alpha stickers and chip stickers.

I really do love this paper and whilst i had it out i thought i'd make up a couple more cards to use up some of the scrap bits. I then remembered that there was a dinosaur stamp that would be perfect to go with these papers so i pinched it from stock..........lol. Think it is made by Hero Arts.

(not a good idea for me to stamp straight onto the card cause as you can see my text is a little wonky - not to worry though as this card will go in the box for when it's one of my kids friends birthday..........lol)

Sassy Crafts recipe card

Over on my Sassy Crafts blog i set the DT a challenge to make a craft project using the following recipe:

1 scalloped edge
2 flowers
1 piece of ribbon
2 brads
1 circle
2 squares

Here's my card which despite having flowers in the recipe i tried to make a masculine card - not sure if i like it or not!! May just have another play with this stamp later.

Challenge 7 - Down on the Farm

I came across a new challenge blog (well new to me) the other day called Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

I have just become the proud owner of a few Penny Black stamps and thought i would give it ago (any excuse to ink up new stamps.....lol).
